Loyos bi — Financial Reporting & Planning Integration

A focused research profile of FMS: Excel plan integration, dynamic calculations, finance-system connections and open industrial multi-year questions.

Financial Reporting & Planning Integration

Loyos bi’s Financial Management Suite (FMS) is presented as a Power BI-based reporting service with finance-data integration and ongoing support. This profile examines how imported plans, dynamic calculations and management reporting can work together. [source]

Its industrial multi-year fit depends on the model and calculation responsibilities. No independent end-to-end product test has been performed for this guide.

What the evidence supports

Officially documented

Plan integration and calculation logic

The Helpcenter describes a SharePoint input workbook, Plan_Data.xlsx, alongside mapping files. This establishes an Excel-to-reporting handoff. Separately, the June 2026 release notes document formula calculation for dynamic-planning type M.4. Loyos therefore has documented calculation logic as well as plan-data integration. [source] [source]

A full specification of formula types, dependencies and financial roll-forwards is still needed for a particular model.

Officially documented

Existing finance systems and liquidity

The FMS functions page describes P&L, balance-sheet and cash-flow reporting, planning, scenarios and consolidation. It explicitly describes importing financial, consolidation and planning data from Lucanet. [source]

The CashBoard forecast combines FMS plans, bank balances and manually maintained payments. The help describes a process that is not fully automatic. It is a relevant liquidity component; reporting views alone do not establish a closed three-statement planning model. [source]

Editorial inference

A possible common view of the plan

Loyos is a useful research candidate where existing Excel or finance models need a shared reporting and analysis layer. A replacement decision requires matching the actual planning, consolidation and governance scope. The documented Lucanet import supports a complementary use case; it does not decide every architecture.

Unclear / not publicly verified

Industrial planning and SAP writeback

The interface catalogue names Corporate Planner, Lucanet and SAP-related systems or technologies. It does not specify every object, direction or release. SAP cost-center, activity-quantity and rate writeback has not been verified in the reviewed public evidence. [source]

A standard FACTON connector or a joint industrial reference was not verified. That is an evidence gap to investigate, rather than a conclusion that integration is impossible.

Where does the planning logic run?

Editorial model-ownership questions. These are not a claim that every configuration contains all four layers.
Layer to establishQuestion for the proposed model
Excel modelWhich formulas, assumptions and released scenarios remain authoritative in the workbook?
Dynamic FMS planningWhich rules recalculate in FMS, and how are dependencies and time periods controlled?
Upstream finance systemWhich financial or consolidation values are imported rather than recalculated?
Reporting and refreshWhen does an approved change appear in the report, and how is the source version identified?

FACTON and a five-year plan

Architecture hypothesis

One possible design takes released product-cost inputs from FACTON, combines them with commercial and operational drivers in a defined model, and uses Loyos for financial comparison and reporting. The connecting model could involve Excel, dynamic FMS planning or another planning system. The required interfaces and calculation chain remain to be demonstrated.

Change production volume, activity rates, material prices and payment timing. Trace the results into inventory, cost of sales, receivables, payables and cash. Establish where each relationship is calculated and reconcile every handoff.

Release and scope matter

The FMS 2.0 guide describes version 63 / 63.0.0 and a staged rollout through the end of 2026. Custom reports do not automatically receive all changes. Confirm the actual tenant version and included reports before evaluating a capability. [source]

Agree the five-year horizon, monthly and annual detail, refresh frequency, additional modules, model maintenance and data-export requirements in the proposed scope.

Questions for the provider

  • Show which rules run in Excel, dynamic FMS planning and any upstream finance system.
  • Demonstrate a five-year P&L, balance-sheet and cash-flow scenario with opening balances, inventory, capex and financing.
  • Specify the objects and direction of the Lucanet, Corporate Planner and SAP connections.
  • Demonstrate versions, permissions, approvals and reconciliation after a corrected input file or repeated refresh.
  • Confirm the CashBoard / forecast package, dependencies and maintenance responsibilities.
  • Identify any validated FACTON interface or relevant industrial reference, with product and release scope.
